Organic Search Strategist - SEOGADGET

POSITION

Title: Organic Search Strategist
Location: San Francisco, USA
Reports to:USCEO
Works with:Senior Strategists

WHAT IS SEOGADGET?

We are a fun and geeky marketing family of just over 20 people residing in San Francisco and London. We thrive on innovating for our clients and our industry. We’re pretty sure we laugh more than most companies. We are left-brained SEO tech savants with a penchant for building tools and telling stories with data, and right-brained creative-types who don’t take stock photos for an answer.
Our internal teams are led by industry influencers who speak at conferences across the globe. We’re highly integrated in the industry and we couldn’t think of a better industry to be in. Our CEOs have been in this for over a decade, and our competitors are some of our best friends.
All in all, we recognize the way our industry is changed and are incredibly excited to be at the forefront of it.
Our clients are heavily in tech, entertainment and eCommerce. Vetting our clients for innovative thinkers and techie geeks who have their heart in what they and we do, allows us to get fantastic results and create strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients.

WHAT DOES AN ORGANIC SEARCH STRATEGIST DO AT SEOGADGET?

MANAGE.

As Organic Search Strategist you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing the key performance metrics of marketing and SEO campaigns for SEOgadget clients and managing those client relationships.

DISPLAY TECHNICAL EXPERTISE.

While your primary purpose is leadership in exemplary technical, strategic, content, social and SEO strategy, you’ll always be working on your own projects at the same time as potentially leading and developing a team of SEOs. Much of your initial time at SEOgadget will be providing deep technical dives into log files, analytics, webmaster tools, Microsoft IIS, and a variety of advanced code setups that can include AJAX/Hijax, AngularJS, and crawlable HTML5 to name a few.

LEAD.

As a proven Organic Search Strategist leader, you will be a strong communicator and eventually a manager to Junior SEO positions within the company. You will prioritise customer satisfaction through the delivery and communication of results in search marketing. Your entrepreneurial spirit and creative flair will compel you to innovate and create bespoke marketing solutions delivering real ROI and ultimately long term client retention. Developing a wider understanding of the principles of conversion rate optimization, deep analytics setups and analysis, and how SEO fits into a company’s overall business goals, will speak directly to our purpose: Helping our clients generate higher revenue from their target audiences and ultimately making the web a better place.

  13. Collaborate: Monthly management of and liaison with SEOgadget UK for any content marketing, CRO and technical work for our clients.
  14. Lead:Training, briefing and influencing Junior SEOs, helping them set and realize their goals.
  15. Participate: Contribute regularly to the SEOgadget blog, videos, webinars, and social channels.

Marketer - GUEST POST LABS

TL;DR

We're looking for a rockstar marketer to augment our already awesome, yet small team.

What do we do?

We're building the next generation of content marketing tools and our goal is to empower everyone to create awesome content and help them market better.

What does a marketer do?
Envision, plan and execute kickass inbound marketing campaigns. We create exceptional tools and products, and we need equally exceptional marketing to acquire customers and brand ourselves.

We don't particularly dig time-sheets, reports etc., and don't want to "box" productivity and creativity.

Your client will be yourself (literally!) and you'll be challenged to create some of the most interesting and creative inbound marketing campaigns while ensuring a mix of the ideal inbound and non-inbound marketing strategies.

A job in India, what?

Yes, the job is India. But, no, you don't have to be Indian to apply. If you're an international applicant, we will still work very hard to get you here, as long as you are the right fit. But, do bear in mind, the Indian government loves its paperwork.

If you live in India, we pay better than the rest and offer perks like none other!
