Freelance Journalist - DISTILLED
Distilled, an online marketing company with a creative eye, is looking for an experienced US-based freelance journalist to help us compile a detailed industry report.
We have offices in Seattle and NYC, but you can be based anywhere and will be working closely with our London office. You will be supported by our in-house marketing team as well as by design, layout and sub-editing resources.
The right candidate will:
* Have deep experience of the journalistic process from briefing through to final production
* Be able to demonstrate exceptional research and writing skills and investigative techniques
* Have some familiarity with online marketing strategies and tactics
Through a combination of interviews, desk research and following leads, we will be seeking to compile a snapshot of 100 companies' approach to online marketing. The factual data will be supplemented by profiles and interviews for a handful of people and brands.
We anticipate around 6 weeks' work (possibly spread out over a slightly longer elapsed time). We can provide a more detailed brief to shortlisted candidates for deeper discussion.
